Emma Tindall, a senior from Sunnyvale High in Texas representing Texas Express, cleared a personal-best 12-8 (3.86m) on her first attempt to win girls high school section No. 2 at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Nevada. Tindall had the edge on fewer attempts against Sophia Kowalski of The Woodlands Pole Vault Club and Conroe Grand Oaks High, Brooke Walden of Homewood High in Alabama and Texas Express teammate Jacelyn Neighbors of Royse High, all of whom achieved personal-best efforts by clearing 12-8.
